This has got to be one of my favorite pictures of Zach! He just looooves his baths!

A few random pics from the past couple of weeks…

Yes Zach, sometimes we think he is weird, too.

A boy and his big black bug.  He actually kept this bug for quite some time and made it a nice little home in a Tupperware container.   After one escape too many, though, I decided that bugs do not like to be held captive and we put him back outside (phew).

And a couple of Zach laughing pics. This kid thinks we are hilarious!

A few weeks ago we went to see Thomas the Train in North Conway! Like most two year old boys, Ben is a pretty big Thomas fan!

Here comes Thomas!

We got to go for a ride on Thomas. Ben was pretty impressed, but Zach just slept.

Ben and Daddy got to go in a corn maze…

Ben got to get up close and personal with a big turtle. I am not sure what a turtle has to do with Thomas, but Ben was impressed nonetheless!

Ben LOVES bouncy houses. He would have stayed in here all day if he could have. Who cares about kids twice your size bowling you over? You’re in a bouncy house!

We did not make it in time to have an actual ‘in front of Thomas’ picture taken, but this does the trick.

This was one of those hot and muggy weekends, so of course we ended the outing with ice cream!

This kid is amazing. Whenever we go out he manages to finagle someone else’s ice cream cone….

Don’t worry, Josh got his back eventually.

Zach is really starting to smile and coo!

Josh might not be too happy with me for posting this. ….!

The Bumbo has returned! Zach is just starting to get the head control needed, so with a little support he is able to sit up!

Say cheese!

His brother can be very entertaining…

Monkeys tickle!!

Ben was showing us how little Zachary is.  Pretty little, huh?

Already starting to get annoyed by big brother…

And OF COURSE Ben had to sit in the Bumbo and say cheese when Zach was done. Mom and Dad had to do it next (according to Ben), but we did not take pictures of that….

The Bumbo has actually become Ben’s favorite seat! I think he might even fit into it better now than when he was an infant!

Our good day lasted into the evening! Josh was finally able to give Zach his first bottle, and he took it like a pro!

Ben had to be in the pics, of course.

And I ALMOST got a first smile pic! I won’t name names, but there was a certain two year old trying to climb on me to take the picture himself, so my hands were not exactly steady…

We took to the boys to a local Memorial Day parade a few weeks ago! It took about 2 minutes for the entire parade to march by (not kidding), but Ben enjoyed it nonetheless!!!

What day is not exciting when you have a backpack, a flag, and a balloon???

We had a good day today! Zach has had some tummy issues, so until now he has not been having much fun. Hopefully today is a sign of things to come, though!

Of course, Ben has to join right in. Naked.

We had a rainy day this week, so we took to opportunity to break out the finger paints!

Ben was a little timid at first…one dainty finger at a time

But, it did not take long for him to get into it !

I have to admit that I stopped taking pictures when it got a little messier. You can see some of his masterpieces here, though!

Earlier in the week Daddy helped him paint his cool plane from Uncle Sachem and Aunt Lauren. He’ll be our little Picasso in no time!
